The Tiger baseball squad kicked off their season at Green City Friday. The Tigers stuck first with a run in the first, but surrendured the lead when Green City scored 3 runs in the 3rd. Brashear came back with 4 in the 5th and 3 in the 7th to claim an 8-4 win.

Justin Leedom had a single and a double for Brashear with Brandon Jochimsen and Garrett Housman each having 2 hits. John Gerhold doubled and Quin Allen, Brhet Place, Austin Peterson, and Jace Snelling also had hits. Brhet Place got the start going 5 innings and striking out 10. Brandon Jochimsen pitched 2 innings of relief, striking out 4.
